GAP Day 4
Biskodor, Susunia Jamthol, Agaya; Bankura
Bankura has a dry and semi-arid climate. With less organic matter in soil, it called for interventions that GAP had rightly brought in. Some of the villages embraced for GAP practiced, while many others soon followed the suite.
On the Day 3 of shooting for GAP [Good Agricultural Practices] Documentaries, we covered four villages in Jhargram. Photogenic and serene visuals along with nice interactions with people made our day productive and gleeful.

An overnight stay and then rushed to the field the next morning to avert any ‘foggy’ delay. A beautiful field of vegetable cropping was captured in the second half of the day.
It’s been the first day of shooting for a series of the 10-part documentary. Funded by the World Bank, monitored by a West Bengal Govt department, and implemented by an NGO based at South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India.
A delayed departure in the morning due to fog couldn’t dampen our spirit.
